Fire performance
Tritan BP decorative wall panels have been independently tested in accordance with European fire safety standards.
Reaction to fire classification: EN 13501‑1:2018, B‑s1, d0.
All Tritan BP panels are moulded from the same rigid polyurethane. Classification testing of additional profiles and adhesive-fixed installations is in progress.
What this means
- B – very limited contribution to fire.
- s1 – minimal smoke production.
- d0 – no flaming droplets or particles.
This is a strong fire performance for a decorative wall product. The material is not classified as non-combustible and should not be used where A1/A2 materials are legally required.
Test standards
EN 13823 (Single Burning Item) and EN ISO 11925‑2 (Ignitability). Testing confirmed very low heat release, minimal smoke and no flaming droplets.
Field of application
Classification is valid when installed on A1 or A2 rated substrates, using mechanical fixing, in decorative wall applications.
