Tritan BP Products: Where Safety Meets Style
Independently fire tested to EN 13501-1, Class B-s1, d0
Thank you for your interest in Tritan BP. We specialise in high-quality faux stone, brick, wood, and concrete-effect panels, crafted from polyurethane. Our standard material has a density between 190 and 260 kg/m³ (equivalent to 12–16 lb/ft³). Upon request, we can adjust the hardness or softness of the material to meet the specifications of your project. Fire Safety
Our stone-profile panel has been independently tested in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018 and classified B-s1, d0: very limited contribution to fire, minimal smoke, and no flaming droplets. Testing was carried out to EN 13823 (Single Burning Item) and EN ISO 11925-2 (Ignitability).
All Tritan BP panels are moulded from the same rigid polyurethane. Classification testing of additional profiles, and of adhesive-fixed installations, is in progress.
The material is not classified as non-combustible. It should not be used where A1 or A2 rated materials are legally required. The classification is valid for decorative wall applications, mechanically fixed to A1 or A2 rated substrates.
Where a product page does not state a fire classification, that product is made from our standard polymers and has not been fire tested.

Factory Finish
Our panels are hand-finished using exterior-grade, water-based pigments with UV inhibitors for enhanced weather resistance.
Key Notes:
Colour Application – Each piece is hand-painted by skilled artisans, allowing for natural colour blending and variation. No machine templates are used.
Outdoor Use – While ideal for external applications, minor fading may occur over time due to sun exposure. We recommend applying a clear UV topcoat every 3–5 years, especially for installations in direct sunlight. Always test the coating in a discreet area first.
Touch-Up Kits – Available for most colours, and include everything you need to repair minor marks or scratches. Check the touch-up kit page for the colours currently stocked — there is no Cotswold Stone touch-up colour yet.
Custom Colours – We offer colour matching services for a small lab fee. A physical sample is required (digital photos are not sufficient). Production time for colour matches is typically extended by 2–3 weeks, and minimum order quantities apply.
Important Colour Notes
Digital vs. Physical – Colours may display differently on screens. We strongly recommend ordering samples to confirm your selection.
Batch Variation – Expect a 10–15% variation in colour between production batches. To ensure consistency, order all materials required for a project together when possible.

Unless otherwise stated in the individual product description, Tritan BP decorative panels are independently tested to recognised European fire classification standards to support safe and informed installation decisions.
Our products have been tested in accordance with EN 13501-1, the European standard for classifying the reaction to fire performance of construction materials.
Fire Classification:
B-s1, d0
This rating indicates:
- B – Very limited contribution to fire
- s1 – Minimal smoke production
- d0 – No flaming droplets or particles
This classification places Tritan BP panels among the highest-performing decorative wall cladding materials available that are not classed as non-combustible.
What This Means in Practical Terms
The EN 13501-1 B-s1, d0 classification demonstrates that Tritan BP panels:
- Exhibit strong resistance to flame spread
- Produce very low levels of smoke
- Do not generate flaming droplets when exposed to fire conditions during testing

Important Installation Guidance
While Tritan BP panels meet stringent European fire performance standards, they are not fireproof and are not classified as non-combustible materials.
For safety and compliance reasons:
- Tritan BP panels must not be installed in locations where fireproof or non-combustible materials are required
- They must not be installed in areas where they may be directly exposed to open flames, direct heat sources, or continuous high temperatures
- Always follow applicable UK Building Regulations, manufacturer installation instructions, and any requirements specified by installers, surveyors, insurers, or building control officers
Where installations are planned near fireplaces, log burners, cookers, or other heat-producing appliances, appropriate clearances, heat shielding, and protective materials must be used, and professional guidance should be obtained.

Our products are hand finished with exterior grade water base pigments that have UV inhibitors formulated into our coloring system. We do provide custom colors and unfinished options as well.
A few things to be aware of:
Color Application: All of Tritan BP products are hand finished by artist to ensure natural color blending and tones. Color tones are accurately applied, but thanks to our dedicated team, the color blend and transition is as natural as possible to ensure the most authentic replica possible. The colors are not applied by machine or template and thus some variation is expected and encouraged.
Exterior Applications: Our products are produced, and hand finished and they are designed to be installed both indoors and outdoors. It's important to note that some degree of fading may occur due to factors like sun exposure, regional climate, and other environmental conditions. To proactively minimize the natural fading process that takes place over time, we highly recommend applying a light coat of UV topcoat to the surface every 3 to 5 years. The frequency of application should be based on the product's level of exposure to sunlight. This protective measure will help preserve the product's appearance and reduce the effects of fading. Prior to applying the UV topcoat across the entire product line, we strongly advise conducting a small test on a discreet location of the panel. This allows you to assess the compatibility of the UV coating with our products and ensures the desired results without compromising the aesthetics.
Touch up kits: Touch up kits are available for purchase separately for all the colors. Standard Touch up kids include all necessary colors to replicate the desired color effect, instructions, detailing brush and wiping rag.
Custom Colors: We have many standard colors to choose from and we also provide color matching services as well. If needing a color match, there is a minimal color lab fee. We will do everything within reason to match the color needed, but we cannot guarantee a 100% color match. Substrates and textures can make colors appear differently. Color matching typically requires an additional 2-3 weeks in production. Please note that a physical sample of the color must be sent to our facility for matching. Minimal color runs vary depending upon product type.
Product Images: Computer, phone, tablets and alike have different pixel and resolution settings that can and will affect how products are displayed on the screen. We recommend requesting a sample(s) prior to ordering to ensure you have chosen the right color and texture for your project. Colors that are the same can also appear different based on the texture of the material you are selecting.
Color Batches: Paint pigments can vary approximately 10%-15% between batches. It is recommended that customers order enough material to complete their project vs, staggering the project over an extended amount of time such as 6-months to a year. Color pigments can be slightly different from different batches and though this would not cause an issue in most cases, if needing to match an order months or years apart this could cause one to notice some variation.
